It’s Always Fun at the OC Fair

OC Fair La Grande Wheel

Every summer, the OC Fair opens its gates, welcoming thousands of fried-deprived visitors. And this year, The Fair celebrates its 125th birthday. It is an Orange County institution, a place where you can be free to pig-out on fattening junk food and enjoy a beer with friends. It’s always fun at the OC Fair.

We try to make it to the OC Fair every summer for the sole purpose of eating deep fried Klondike bars, gyros, bloomin’ onions, and everything else in sight.

Try to get on the La Grande Wheel (the OC Fair ferris wheel) for a  wonderful view of Orange County. I personally haven’t been on many rides at the fair because by the time we reach the rides, my tummy is already on a do-or-die battle with everything I ate.

Australians actually don’t know what a “bloomin’ onion” is. It’s an American thing!

OC Fair food stands

Oh my, be mindful of your heart.

They have every kind of fattening junk food at the OC Fair. It’s a county fair after all. Get your turkey legs, donuts as big as your kitchen plates, BBQ ribs, 1/3 lbs. hotdogs, Greek gyros, and many more.
