Seattle, Washington 2016 [Photos]

Seattle Skyline view alki beach
The city of Seattle is a bright gem, situated on the edge of the Puget Sound, its landscape is magical and romantic. The rain adds to the city’s mystique as if adding filter to a lovely photograph. We only spent two nights in Seattle this year and thankful that we have friends who were very accommodating; they recently moved there from Southern California. We wish we could have spent more time there but the time spent in the Emerald city was relaxing and a break from the Southern California sunshine. On that, here are a few photos of Seattle – One of the most beautiful cities in the United States.

Seattle Skyline from the ferry

Our friends dropped us off at a Ferry station in downtown Seattle and this is the view we got! A highlight of the trip. (above)

We hope you like the few photos that we took. I don’t know why we haven’t taken a lot of pictures. I think it has something to do with actually having fun with our lovely friends.

Seattle is a must visit for any traveler. We will definitely come back and next time, we will be staying for much longer.

I fell in love with Seattle through Grey’s anatomy, so I heard so much about it and the famous ferryboats. I have never been there, but looking at your photos I can only wish I do, one day.

    • Ron

Oh Grey’s Anatomy! We love that show but the show doesn’t show much of Seattle. I can’t ask for much since the show is taped somewhere in the greater Los Angeles area. But hey, yes the Seattle cut scenes on the show are great 🙂

Thanks so much for dropping by!

I’ve yet to holiday over the pond but Seattle certainly looks pretty at night with all the lights. It sounds as though you had an amazing trip with your friends but I’m not too sure about the rum butter apple cider, it doesn’t sound very appetising 🙂

    • Ron

Hi Denise. Seattle is such a great place and definitely beautiful at night. The rum butter apple cider was actually pretty good. I was very mild and almost “caramely.” Much needed on that cold and wet Seattle day! Hope you’re well 🙂
